We believe ND residents researching cannabis policy deserve robust privacy protections — arguably more, given the medical-only Compassionate Care Act framework, the concentrate Class C felony cliff at any weight under § 19-03.1-23, the federal-employer reality at Minot AFB / Grand Forks AFB / Cavalier SFS, the Bakken oil-patch drug-testing intensity, and the Manitoba CBP federal-felony border position.

What We Collect

We set a single cookie (cannabisnorthdakota_age_verified) when you confirm you are 21 or older. This cookie lasts 30 days and prevents the age gate from appearing on every visit. That’s it.

Federal-Employee & Cross-Border Privacy Note

Cannabis-related browsing or social-media activity could theoretically surface in employer-monitoring contexts.
  • Concentrate-felony exposure. ND’s § 19-03.1-23 makes any concentrate (vape cartridge, hash, dab, wax) a Class C felony at any weight (5 years prison + $10,000). The 1 oz first offense criminal-infraction framework only applies to plant-form possession. Visitors with cross-border cannabis-consumption considerations (Minnesota, Montana, Manitoba) face elevated state-law charging exposure on the I-94 / I-29 / US-2 returning corridors.
  • CBP border exposure. Cannabis at U.S.-Canada port of entry produces seizure, denial of entry, fines, and lifetime "lookout" record. Cannabis-industry employment or investment can produce denial of entry independent of physical cannabis possession.

Because we do not collect, store, or process personal information beyond basic server logs, this law does not impose specific affirmative obligations on us.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page with a new "last verified" date. We have no plans to add tracking or analytics.
